Actor Johnny Depp was honored yesterday in Los Angeles, leaving his hand and footprint on the Hollywood Boulevard.
Depp, escorted by Vanessa Paradis and their two children, Lily-Rose and Jack, attended the ceremony outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Boulevard.
"So this is weird," Depp said at the ceremony outside the Theatre. "To say that this is overwhelming is probably the understatement of the millennium."
His prints join those of screen legends such as John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe, The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood being one of the most famous movie theater in the world. Millions of visitors flock there each year, most of them drawn by its legendary forecourt with its footprints of the stars.
Depp is the father of two children, Lily-Rose (1999) and Jack (2002), with his partner, French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis. He and his family divide their time between Los Angeles and a villa in the South of France.
He has also dated actresses Sherilyn Fenn, Jennifer Grey, Winona Ryder, and model Kate Moss.
The 42-year-old is currently filming Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man`s Chest and Pirates Of The Caribbean 3.
